Droplets can be released into the air if an individual coughs, sneezes or speaks. These droplets can infect others. By wearing a face mask, the number of germs released is significantly reduced; protecting other people from becoming sick.
Disposable masks are used to prevent potentially harmful airborne substances from entering the body via the nose and mouth – and to prevent the wearer spreading pathogens and other germs.
Manufactured from 3-ply, spun-bonded polypropylene, non-woven fabric, the masks also have an integral plastic-coated strip above the nose for optimum fit, whilst being light-weight and comfortable. The elasticated loops are latex-free to minimise allergic reactions.
Disposable face masks should be used once and then thrown in the bin. You should also dispose of and replace your mask when they become moist. For medical use only.
